BroadView up for fifth award of 2011

Thursday May 12th 11

BroadView is a finalist in the New Media Age Effectiveness Awards – potentially our fifth award of the year so far.

We received two awards from the digital marketing organisation Econsultancy and two from the visual communications trade body the IVCA.

Awards2011

We’re shortlisted in the NMA’s Travel category for our work helping Virgin Holidays increase its sales of Upper Class tickets by 30%. Our WebPresenter, Natasha, appeared on the flight tickets page to suggest consideration of Upper Class, and then humanised the purchase process by warmly explaining the benefits of upgrading.

The same project won the Econsultancy Award for Innovation in Rich Media and was shortlisted in the E-commerce category.

We won two awards from the IVCA for our ‘Safe or Lucky?’ health and safety video for National Grid.

BroadView Managing Director Stuart Maister said: “We’re delighted to be on such a good run of awards. Most importantly, the latest recognition for the Virgin Holidays project is further proof of the effectiveness of the WebPresenter service in converting customers online and providing a virtual salesperson.”

It was cool and the winners were mostly expected by the people. And i believe they really deserve to be winners.
