Commerzbank

Commerzbank wanted to up its game in recruiting staff at all levels. In a crowded recruitment market, it wanted potential employees to get a feel for what it was like in the London office, to humanize the organization for those who may never have met anyone from the Bank. In short, it wanted a video production which its staff could watch and say: ‘that’s us, would you like to consider joining us?’.

BroadView spent time understanding what is different about Commerzbank compared with its rivals. Key ideas emerged: dynamic; flat management; informal; big company infrastructure but smaller company opportunity to grow; only do-ers need apply – this is not a cozy corporation; pace; international. The brief was to produce a piece which was short, sharp and gave a flavour of the place.

The response to this production has been completely positive both from the London office and HQ in Frankfurt. It appears on the site and will be used at presentations and with recruitment agencies. Potential recruits now know a lot more about what Commerzbank London has to offer.
