As you enter Istanbul’s Panorama 1453 you may falter momentarily. Your senses may struggle to process exactly where you are.
It’s a disorientation which slowly gives way to a sense of the epic. This majestic work, illustrating the fall of Constantinople, was created digitally by artists using Canon printers.
The Fall of Constantinople was the capture of the capital of the Byzantine Empire which occurred after a siege laid by the Ottoman Empire, under the command of Sultan Mehmed II.
